In our quest to feature hidden gems in the America’s Backroads series, Sapelo Island emerged as an obvious choice. Nestled off the coast of Georgia, Sapelo is a stunning destination rich in history.


As the lead producer and videographer for this CNN Headline News sponsored piece, I spearheaded the research, collaborated with the Sapelo Island tourism office for insights, conducted interviews, and managed the entire production process, including preproduction, camera work, scripting and editing.

Overview

A travel-lifestyle campaign capturing the spirit of Jeep vehicles exploring offbeat paths across the U.S. The videos highlight real Jeep owners’ adventures, showcasing breathtaking landscapes and authentic stories of exploration.


My Role

  • Producer & Videographer: Oversaw story concept, coordinated production schedules, and led on-location shoots.
  • Editor: Managed post-production, ensuring the final cuts emphasized Jeep’s sense of adventure while appealing to diverse audiences.

  • Objective: Create a series of short, visually striking videos demonstrating Jeep’s rugged versatility on lesser-traveled roads, aligning with the brand’s “Go Anywhere, Do Anything” ethos.
  • Process: Multiple travel segments filmed across various U.S. locations, interviews with people and businesses that aligned with Jeep’s mission.
